Jo Harris had asked the medical recruitment agency for a female doctor, fortyish, with counselling skills so when a very large man turned up in a psychedelic campervan, complete with surfboards on the top, she couldn't believe this was her new doctor. But Fraser Cameron – call me Cam – is right there, and the holiday season starts next week, so she has little choice but to accept him.
But she doesn't have to fall in love with him – that certainly wasn't on the agenda. Not that there's much time for love. . .
Although, doesn't love always find the time . . .
After accompanying Samarah, the mother of the Crown Prince, home to Al Janeen, emergency doctor Alex Conroy expected to return home, but an earthquake in a distant part of the kingdom made her pause. She was a specialist trained in bushfires, floods and cyclones and knew she could help. Accompanying Azzam, the sheikh, out to the disaster area where Azzam treats the most badly injured, while Alex squeezes through a small hole in the rubble to lift small children out of their shattered schoolroom. As evening falls, Azam points to tents that have been erected and insists they rest. Families will share, he advises, as we must. They will have a 'misyar' marriage, he adds, so no-one will think badly of them. Exhausted, Alex goes along with this bizarre idea but the more time she spends in the ruined village, the more she realises that a real marriage to this man would be the fulfillment of her wildest dreams . . .

Lauren's been working with Tom Fletcher for eighteen months, so why, after he does her a favour by partnering her to a Christmas tree-raising, is she suddenly feeling attracted to him. And now there's Bobby, orphaned by an accident that same night, and they're both staying in Tom's house!
Tom's having a problem, too. He doesn't do commitment, so why's he feeling more than just responsibility towards his guests, particularly the female one.
Surely, it can't be love . . .
Dr Mak Stavrou had taken time off to finish his Master's thesis so why was he deep in the outback, in the middle of the night, facing a beautiful, pregnant woman. Because the child she carried would be his sister's only grandchild? Of course tht was the reason, the child would be family and family was important -
But staying in her house, working with her as she provides medical assistance to the whole district, and falling in love with her - that hadn't been the plan!
The last person Annabelle expects to see on the flight back to her old home town is socialite and the the ER'smost popular Doctor, Nick Tempest. But while she's taken the two months posting as nurse at the local hospital, he's become the doctor half of the team for the experience, as he'll soon be involved in choosing the teams to travel out there. He has no idea what he's in for!
For a start she'll have to get him into country clothes, and ignore his complaints about roughing them up so he doesn't look like a new chum.
New chump! Nick thinks to himself.
But the bossy woman gets under his skin - if she decides to stay, will he?
